Finally ready to be revealed!  As mentioned in our last post where we revealed the new Facebook Timeline cover and profile for Murray and Margie Whitcombe of Awesome Online Biz, we’ve dolled up the page of our second place winner whom they chose to gift their official win to.

Cindy from Double Dragon Jewelry Ltd. was the “other” contest winner in our “Free Facebook Cover Image” Contest where we designed the cover and profile of their choice.

New Facebook Timeline for AwsomeOnlineBiz

Recently we ran a contest on our Facebook page offering to create the winner a free Cover and Profile image for their new Facebook Timeline.

What happened was simply amazing!

Murray and Margie Whitcombe of Awesome Online Biz won hands down!  But, in a true act of kindness, they asked that the second place entry be given their prize!

Of course we granted their request and also created a Timeline cover and profile for them.

The answer is a resounding “YES”!

All too often I visit sites where the owners are solely focused on promotion leaving the expectation that visitors are supposed to entertain themselves.  Much like a real world party, you are the host and must ensure your guests are enjoying themselves.

A pet peeve of mine is to visit a Facebook page where they don’t allow comments from fans.

How can this be social?

I’ll use Facebook as an example here (though the same applies across all of your social networks).

You create a page to promote your business…great.  Then each day you post something to add content.  And that’s it??!!!
